So here's part of my story of why this blog has been abandoned in fits and starts. I got a new job several months ago (read 10) and am rarely home before 8pm. And as such haven't quite figured out how to manage life. I've done some cooking and baking that has gone well. The raspberry mascarpone tart has been a big hit across he board and been requested at events. I've done a pear and apple tart, but I've been itching to get back into real baking and talking about the epic failures. (And the table scapes are to some of your liking.)
So, with the holidays coming up there should be good food opportunities a plenty. Stay tuned. There might be some experimenting this weekend.
I also have been dying to get down to the outlet mall to hit up the kitchen stores. There is a Le Creuset and Williams-Sonoma that have great deals. Plus a KAF order may be in the works.
