It needs more kick. Ah-greed. I'm thinking of adding white pepper, I like spicy food. I don't want to destroy the faint vanilla flavor though. . But otherwise a success. Relief.
On a side note, my Persian friend is going to try it tomorrow. Because, he's not a fan of spicy. So there might be two versions in the works, or at least a delay in adding some heat. A new rule is was also born, that he also has to sample everything I bring in. I now have a board of guinea pigs up to 3. It's nice to know I have friends who will make fun of me if it's terrible, and yet keep eating.
